It's kind of funny. The Wii has almost 50% market share- they may lose this year in Japan and it still wouldn't hurt the "N". If the PS3 sells well so what...
All I hope is that in the Wii they finally find a fix for Nintendo's 3rd party woes.

20k-30k sounds right if not bundled. If it's bundled (which it really should and I'm expecting it to) it will raise much higher. |
Well even thought it might give it a 20-30 k bump first week, i'm sure it will give the Wii probabely a strong month- month and a half on its own. Add in a few games after that and wii levels might actually return to 35-40 k levels
Monster Hunter 3 and Wii Sports Resort should make for a monster summer for Wii.
Though regarding this, its surprising that in Japan, where 3rd party support for Wii is strongest, 3rd parties sell the least, whereas in the West, where 3rd party support is weaker, their sales account for more than half.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

1/3 of Pokemon is owned by Nintendo. One third is owned by the Pokemon Company and the other third is owned by Creatures Inc.
Pixel Art can be fun.

I thought they had wholly bought out Creatures, or did they do that to Game Freak?
One of them they now own completely.

Only if bundled, plus most everyone already have a wii in anticipation of this game. I think 20k bumps sounds about right. |
Ha! No they dont. Like PS3 some people are waiting for FFXIII. People are waiting on Wii for DQX and Monster Hunter 3.
DQ will give it the biggest bump of all.
All I have to say is: AT LAST!
About time Nintendo notice the lack of third-party support for Wii. But it seems he's focused only on the japanese market and ignoring the rest of the world.
I hope after this statement, Nintendo attract more big-budget third-party support for Wii.

Where did I say Pokemon wasn't? I said the DEVELOPERS aren't owned by Nintendo.

Monster Hunter 3 will sell about 2 million in Japan alone IMO. I would it will boost Wii hardware by about 80-100k not in one week but for at least 3-4 weeks. Zelda title on the Wii will boost sales of the Wii drastically.
