Wait a minute you guys!

Her hair is freakin identical in shape and style to Crystal. I'm starting to wonder if she is Crystal just redesigned a bit!

And over the years she developed a Mario fetish and that explains her clothing and dying her hair!

I'm really surprised they decided to re-design the female trainer, I just assumed they'd use Crystal. Not complaining though I like her new design.

The skateboard thing reminds me of when the original G/S were released. Everyone (well all the kids I knew) thought the bicycle would change to a skateboard but it never did. Strange that they would introduce one now.

A skateboard was originally planned for the first Gold and Silver games, but was switched out for the bicycle. In the Manga, Gold (the male protagonist who is pictured in the CoroCoro scan; Silver was the redheaded boy, the rival AND Giovanni's son, and the female protagonist is Crystal) rode a skateboard. Read the Manga synopsis' for the GSC generation on the Serebii.net website and you'll see what I mean

Ok i'm sorry Pretendo but i must stop you right there. Just because the new girl isn't as willing to reveal her legs as much as the other girls, doesn't make her a loser. Give her a chance, for god sake she cosplays as Mario on a regular basis, that right there is instant win. :)

 

 Sorry to tell you this but Crystal wore longer shorts then this new girl. I'll admit it's nice to see she likes Mario, her clothes just look goofy. Judging from the dirrection that Pokemon characters are going, she'll probably be some overly happy, dumb girl who loses her Pokedex and always needs help like Platinum.

@wfz Crystal's hair wasn't so rounded and it was blue/green.

Yeah, it might've been a mistranslation or someone saying that the skateboard was implimented in the game. Would seem weird because skateboards don't go that fast in real life, as it depends on the terrain you are on (slopes).
