It is more likely that Sony goes only as publisher in next gen.....i get it that this is not just for gaming division, but looking at this bad numbers i don't expect E3 price cut, maybe later on in the year.....maybe it would be better if Sony just becomes publisher...

I wonder if with this bit of news, that the baton of negative articles has been passed from Wii, back to the Ps3...

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

do you really see a japanese company company selling a japanese brand to a american company there is a greater chance that they will sell it to toshiba or something

The Playstation brand isn't going anywhere. If the PS4 performs as badly as the PS3, I could see such speculation put for but the PS1, PS2, and PSP have been profitable for Sony. I doubt they'd drop a brand they've built over 15 years over one failure.

Playstation brand isn't dead and there will be a PS4.

It just won't cost $600 dollars on launch and yes it will be much more like this generations Wii.
