FF coming to the 360 saved a lot of 360 owners the trouble of going out and buying a PS3. It was a Megaton for 360 owners/people who wanted to save a few dollars and go the 360 route. MGS would be a megaton in the same respect if it were to happen

yeah I know Persona is a great franchise but far from Megaton status.  At least not to the common public.  Maybe to people like us on internet forums but not to anyone else.

It reguires a huge name...

Like Dragon Quest 10/11 on 360. [Japan sales of DQ are extreme]

Anything under the impressive sales history [atleast in a single region] of a series likeTekken just won't cut it.

But it wouldn't. It has been predicted for around 3 years now. It at least has to be a surprise.

And I don't see how Nintendo announcing another Zelda or Sony announcing Trico is a megaton for the same reason. We all expect it to happen.

Wrong. With the current Wii situation and the first true Wii Zelda. Zelda for Wii would be huge.

Of course another Zelda is gonna happen same way another Halo is gonna happen. Doesnt stop it from being a huge announcment. Especially since no one knows when to expect these announcements.

A huge surprise announcement is a megaton. Zelda Wii at E3 would be big and a surprise.
