My younger brother is an avid Ps3 fanboy and an utter MGS fan...He said the story falls apart at the end...but I would not know myself...

MGS4 wouldn't do well on 360. Its been out for almost a year. Just look at Bioshock PS3.

Honestly...Let's say if it was ready for a august release I think It would do atleast 800k in the first month....If it were ready by then...Anything after...I don't know....

Actually, if they use Konami servers (Which they would) it will crash. Konami does not have a good online infrastructure, (based on MGO and PES) and they would make the content available only on Konami.com. For the most part, they try to do everything through their website, from DLC to sign in ID's. They make more money that way.

this will great news, also remember, this is only part of it if it is true
Rare will still announcing something,

so this + rare + lionhead thing, also some ODST + MGS 4, will be huge megaton

also remember MGS IV will do great on 360, probably it will have better sales than KZ2 did on PS3, don't underestimate it

look for Nov-Dec bundle, X360+ODST+MGS+PDX games bundle wow it will be great
