The fact that a saved game will affect ME2 leads me to believe there is a even smaller chance of the game making it to PS3..I mean a Ninja Port of the game Releasing this summer would make things different..But if no ME1 on PS3 then the team would have to cut content..Or the game would have Content with no access on the PS3 and that would be worst than the Whole "Hinted to be on the 360 but locked" Pirate character from ToV

I dont think Team ICO has the mass appeal to have their games classified as a 'megaton'. Those are almost always unexpected and huge. Gears 3 is kind of expected, tbh...so I don't think its that either. |
Shadow of the Colossus:
It's a game that dares you to exhilarate while hammering you with consequence. In short, Shadow of the Colossus breaks storytelling barriers none of us knew existed. It's the rare game for which the often overused words "ground-breaking" were truly reserved for, and it's enough to make you regret every stupid coin you ever collected.
ICO:
1UP didn't review it, for some reason...
I would say that's pretty megaton

A port of a one year old game is not a megaton.
Possible megatons:
Going multiplat:
MGS5 (kind of)
Versus XIII (kind of)
Mass Effect 2 (kind of)
Gears of War (not happening)
Announcements:
Team ICO game (likely, and definitely a megaton)
Halo 4 (definitely a megaton, but not really very likely)

How would that be a megaton? Everyone knows it's coming out.

I agree, although with Blu Ray, Bioware could release both games on one disc... possibly.
Or maybe even release a single Mass Effect 1 + 2 box set?
Who knows, its gonna be fun finding out

Megaton does not mean surprise. Megaton means massive.
And that would be massive. I mean, look at the level of hype there is for a game with no name, no information, no trailer, and nothing but a screenshot showing a pulley system, and the knowledge that it will involve close contact (like with Yorda's hands in Ico, or Agro and the Colossi in SoTC)

Firstly, by releasing the game on a second platform you are guaranteed an increase in sales, it's simple logic, the more people you offer your game experience to, the more people will be able to buy into that game experience, being exclusive to the Xbox 360, has certainly worked for EPIC games, they make a great cash return on every title released due to huge sales, but there's no denying that if the game was available on the PS3 it would make even more money for EPIC games, remember this is business.
Secondly, the PS3 has a lot to offer EPIC games in terms of technical power, so they can really achieve their intentions, goals and dreams with the series. Looking at the visuals of Gears of War 2, and comparing them to Gears of War 1, you can be forgiven for thinking they are the same game, the difference really isn't much, although fanboys would love to spin it in a way that suggests it is. If however they utilise the PS3's capabilities we can really see a Gears of War that rivals games like Killzone 2, and Uncharted 2 in sheer technical brilliance and physics.
Thirdly, with the Blu-Ray disc, there is no doubt EPIC games would have less constraints on what they can offer the player, larger levels, better sound, more content in every area of the game, it would be a real shame for Gears of War 3 to launch on the Xbox 360's DVD9 disc, and due to size constraints become a shadow of the game EPIC would have wanted it to be. Think about it.
In conclusion, I think EPIC games would be doing a major service to themselves and games alike if they choose to develop GeOW3 for the PS3, and a major disservice to gamers if they don't, no one wants a gimped game that is a shadow of the game it could have been. Gears of War 2 is a strong sign that the series is faltering due to constraints and poor execution.

1. I think MS paid for this tittle with the Blood of their first borns..
2.EPIC is more likely to stick to the UNREAL Engine...So the PS3 would not Make a Difference....
3.Again I think MS paid for this Tittle with the blood of their first borns...
