So in others and americas, the Wii > PS360 combined. Albeit small numbers overall, if this trend continues, maybe 50% Wii marketshare won't be unimaginable afterall?

Considering early Japan numbers Wii=PS3 +- few hundreds units and Wii has around 15k lead this week:

Wii will have 15k- (X360 in Japan sales) =  around 8k advantage

Just don't ask me to calculate in which century it can get to 50% at this pace :)

Did ps3 just get upped by ~140k? I thought it was barely going to make 22 mill this week but it's a lot more than 22 mill now

Sony needs to take notice, PS3 and the Americas a match made in hell for Sony. I still think a price drop would help.

360 numbers are okay. Nothing surprising other then the PS3 dropping like the New York Yankees. Does Sony have A-Rod coming back like the Yankees?

LOL well, I initially estimated January 2010, since Wii marketshare tends to jump sharply around the holidays. Considering that the diff is approx 3 mil units difference, its not unthinkable, seeing how many Wii units shipped last fiscal year. It all depends on the success levels of the big hype games like Conduit, DQ9, Wii Sports Resort and the popularity of Motion+. Should be interesting, nonetheless
