M.U.L.E.

reply if you know it?

M.U.L.E. is a real classic, and you can easily enjoy it today if you just get a C-64 emulator :)

My most loved game that very few people seem to know is Star Control 2.

Then, I have an old game that I really liked, but I can't remember the name of it. It was on PC, and it was a space rpg where you flew between a few planets. The interesting things were that the combat was real-time, 2d from the top, not turn-based as was the norm back then. I think the plot involved some aliens coming to invade the corner of the space through a space portal because in the aliens' home world, the sun was dying. I never finished the game, though, because I lost a critical item to an NPC that I later kicked from my team, and then when I got it (it was a robot with plasma cannons :) ) back to my team, the item was no longer there. I had played a LOT to get to that stage, and gotten through some tough spots so I really didn't feel like starting all over (yes, all my save games were useless, too). Anwyay, does anybody know the game I'm talking about? Maybe I could give it another shot now :)

PC - 10six (fps/rts hybrid mmo) Why do we not see unique/ambitious concepts for MMOs like this anymore? and why someone hasn't used this concept again still baffles me. All we get now are level grinding, cookie-cutter mmos that are all just the same and boring. Played the game for about a year or 2 and it was like nothing I've ever played and still has no match. Why more game concepts haven't gone mmo yet is puzzling - we should be there by now. Game is still being run by a former dev from the game for its fans to this day, but the small scale just isn't the same.

Sega CD - All the FMV games, i loved em

PS2 - Primal

Snatcher and Silpheed (Sega CD)

lost in blue

Nintendo Network ID: Sherlock99

Bushido Blade... it never got a foothold in america.
Graal online... ripoff of Zelda (online RPG) that was really well made (until it was made Pay to play)

Around the Network

Bomb Jack on Amstrad CPC464. I wasted many hours on that game.
Xargon on PC.

Also I don't think enough people have played Deus Ex considering how great it is.

Sunset Riders arcade version was the best..

Other games I love a lot that not many people know:

Mr. Do!

Parodius DA!?!

Tengai Makyou IV - The apocalypse

Princess Crown

Guardian Heroes

Panzer Dragoon Saga

Silhouette Mirage

Radiant Silvergun

Magical Chase

Dragon Slayer the legend of heroes

i LOVE goofy troop adventure SO much.

Suikoden II, finding someone who played it is an accomplishment. Luckily, almost everyone who did loved it.

Also, some classic adventure games like Monkey Island and Broken Sword, while they're popular haven't been played as much as they should

And the City-building series...no one played Zeus and Pharaoh, sadly

Suikoden II is my favorite game alongside with FF7. Just can't decide wich one is my favorite so I like them both equally.

I played Suikoden II beat it 4 times already. The first time I beat it I didn't complete the 108 stars. 2nd time I completed the 108 stars and get the good ending. 3rd and 4th I just want to played again for nostalgia purposes? I really loved the story and the gameplay.

OT:

just posted the first thing comes up in my head. There still some just can't remember.

Yeah, I won it 4 times too...the only game which I can say that. Though I got the 108 stars only in my 4th play (it was the only run where I used a walkthrough).

Hotlinking is not allowed is such a great game
