Well, they all look pretty good and choosing between them is gonna be pretty hard... so I'm gonna cheat and say whatever Crytek release!

it will be between Heavy Rain, Killzone 2, and Uncharted 2

It is hard to say right now, until they all come out I cannot pit them against Killzone 2's HD awesomness. My geuss will be Heavy Rain(and yes, that is ingame graphics proven by the gameplay demo)

I'm guessin that it will be like the first LP...360 version will come out first and later on it will come out for the PS3

Last year MGS4 got about 65% of the media votes and Gears 2 got about 35%.

To be honest I cant really decide. Based on screenshots and videos I have seen my guess is it will be one of the following games.

Heavy Rain

Alan Wake


 

GT 5

Uncharted 2

KZ 2

God of War III would be on there, if it was a 2009 title.

EDIT: I left the ones I think are contenders. Probably not Killzone 2, since it released so early in the year.

non of the games mentioned in the first post that's for sure - maybe with exception of Assasins Creed 2.
most visually impressive games(best graphics):
Assasins Creed 2,
NFS: Shift,
Lost Planet 2 pc,
whatever Crytek will release this year,
Resident Evil 5 pc,
basically any multiplatform game on pc will be visually impresive and way better lookin than any console game ever will be this gen.

best art style:
Muramasa,
Madworld,

technical achievement:
Conduit(and probably those 2 unannounced HVS projects),
RE:UC2,
Red Steel 2,
Dead Space wii,
maybe new nintendo wii game,

Whatever way you look at it. Lost Planet 2 is impressing everyone. Theres hardly a bad word in site about this game at the moment.

This is gonna be amazing.

Lastly watch the video here and listen to the gametrailers guy. He said when this video was first shown some of the press thought it might be for the next generation of consoles. Just shows you this must be even more impressive in person.

Ok, I agree that people around the net seem to think LP2 looks impressive, just not so much here on VGC lol.
