SotC.

I thought shadow of the colossus was an amazing game and riding agro just felt 'right' somehow.

The game however was COMPLETELY ruined for me by the last colossus. The last colossus was far too easy to kill and although the most epic in physical stature, it was severely lacking in the 'je ne sais quoi' of the rest of the colossi. This destroyed the immersion and made me feel that the game was repetitive in one master stroke.

The last colossus was too mechanical in everything that it did, I didn't even feel remotely sorry for it when it died.

I have not played the new zelda on Wii purely because I feel the game series needs a shift in another direction.

I personally prefer TP, but imho SOTC is awesomely great too. :)

I could have played it on GameCube, but the 'mirror image' map was retarded to me. Not to mention we only had it for Wii anyway..

Now had you said; A Link to the Past, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time - I think all 3 of those are better than SOTC (no disrespect to SOTC). I loved SOTC, and still do. But those 3 Zelda games are 3 of the best games of all time for me, not just in the Zelda series.

the wii's map was mirror imaged. the gamecube was the original. Link left handed, the hyrule map correct. Everything in wii version was flipped. the dessert is supposed to be in the west not the east, ect.

I've never played SotC so I couldn't tell ya what's better of the two. But Zelda, in general as a series, is one of the greatest if not the greatest ever created. Can't go wrong with a Zelda game. But I've heard nothing bad about SotC so it's supposed to be a wonderful game as well. You should enjoy both.
