not only this, but VGChartz has the japan preview, which is based off of 1 stores sales. Since they get that stores sales ealiest they do the preview. Sure it isn't very accurate compared to when all the numbers come in, but it is something.

Also, VGChartz used to publish their Japan numbers before Famitsu and Media Create, but since then has changed the order around so it is now typically Others, NA, Japan, so Japan usually comes in on Thursday now.

So obviously VGChartz generates their own numbers.

Yes they are. But suppose I created a thread every week with my own Japan numbers which were nothing more than a mix of Famitsu and Media Create - they would be accurate too. But pointless.

VGChartz is a sales website. And the sales are accurate... i really dont see a problem.

@ pretty much everyone: I think Declan already corrected himself and stated that he considers it poor by VGC to merely mimick the numbers of other sources, while that doesn't really happen with Euro - US numbers. It's the "look, we have our own Japan numbers... which seem just to stem from Famitsu - Media Create"-vibe he doesn't appreciate apparently.
