umm. what the hell are you talking about? I have never met a gay who has chosen to be gay in my life. I certainly did not choose it either.

if they say there are no gays in star wars, then it definitely came from george lucas. and if he doesnt want gays in his world then thats how it is. if you have an issue, go make a story where everyone is gay.

sure.. design your main nemesis as a huge S&M leather freak(vader) then blame gay ppl for pointing it out.. tsk tsk

I worded my whole first post wrong.  I don't know if you are born with it or choose to be gay, I don't think anyone scientifically knows.  But I'll take your word for it.  When I said chosen lifestyle I meant lifestyle as in celebrating it and parading it around, waving it in front of everyone's faces.  It's clearly obvious that some people find openly gay demonstrations upseting and anyone who willfully subjects them to it has no right to blame them for getting upset about it.  That's something you don't have a choice about, wheter or not something offends you.  But anyone (Miss Texas for example) who acts or states having any problem with it is cruxified in today's culture. That's the way she was raised and what she believes in her heart, if you are going to say "I don't have a choice" then at least acknowledge that maybe neither does she.  I'm not speaking directly to you I like Bacon, but in general gay people have to stop this reverse-persecution against people who hold different values than they do.  It's hypocritical and yes I realize it happens on both sides but most straight people I know aren't saying "don't be gay, period."  It's not illegal or anything.  It's more just a wish to not be constantly subjected to it and not have their children constantly subjected to it. And as someone just pointed out earlier it is EVERYWHERE in the media now days. So of course that turns into resentment and then doubles the resentment from homosexuals. So everyone just resents each other.  All this could be avoided if people kept their sex lives and their sexual preferences in their own homes. So yeah, maybe I have a problem with it in a "public" MMO.  As noted I have no problem with it in Fable, Mass Effect or the Sims 2, ALL games I have owned and loved.  And wheter or not anyone here believes it I have had no problems with the many gay friends I've had through out life.

Yeah I know what you meant now. sorry. lol But I believe that 95%+ of gay people were born like that. and it's not a bad thing at all. I can't believe people use gay to mean "bad".

For the record I don't think gay means bad.

Well i've never heard the word "gay" in Star Wars so....

This is so limited anyway... we're talking SF here.
Why not having species who change sex in various period of the year like in Ursula K. LeGuin's "Left Hand of Darkness".
Or species who have three genders like in Asimov's "The Gods Themselves".
Or what about hermaphrodite or polyamorous species or cultures...
