I'm going to NG++ now, just defeated Old King Allant and got the Redeye Stone xD Going to finish all spells and unique weapons now and leave miracles for NG+++

Looooooooooooool, one shotted NG++ Phalanx with a single Firestorm, 7K damage :P

I'll be home in 1.5 hours or so and add you then. Also, opinion: Get homing soul arrow or soul thirst first? Was thinking soul thirst because more souls = awesome (1.5x until now and 3-3 in NG+), but I've heard that homing soul arrow may be useful.

I guess my question is more of "how much of an improvement is homing soul arrow over soul arrow" and "is there another spell comprable to homing soul arrow against bosses like old king or penetrator"?

This may be a really, really dumb question...

But how do i save?

Well, I for one love Homing Soul Arrow, not only for it being a 4x Soul Arrow, but for the ability to use it as a trap against any enemy, as the spell hangs above you until an enemy comes into range. It's pretty good to cast it around a corner, kite the enemy, wait for it to come to you and have him getting hit by the four simultanious arrows for 1000 damage xD For the Old King and Penetrator, Moving Soul Arrow works magnifically well.

You can pretty much get a less soul gaining effect (32%) using Silver Bracelet + Ring of Avarice than just using Soul Thirst, plus Soul Thirst is a very MP expensive spell (200 MP), so you'll need at least 30 intelligence to cast it, only lasts for 30 seconds, and you'll be out of mana for pretty much everything else.

I just don't see it worth it, unless you have a high intelligence stat.

The game auto-saves everything that you do. Notice that sometimes a blue hued ball appears on the top right corner of the HUD? That's the auto-save icon.

This means that if you screw up anytime, you screw up definetily for that playthrough. Say you kill a NPC. That NPC stays dead until you start NG+ :P 

Ah bummer, not that high of INT for me then. According to the wiki, silver bracelet is female only....dammit, should have read all of the wiki before I made my character.

Does no one read instruction booklet or even on screen instructions anymore?   It gives you a confirmation dialog saying that the game autosaves at certain points in the game every time you start the game!  You have to press ok to get past it!

Yep, that's why I made my new character female, been using the Ring of Avarice + Silver Bracelet combo right from the moment I got the Silver Bracelet in 3-1 xD 

The only thing that i'm more bummed about the female character is the inability to use the Ancient King Armour, which was basically an heavy armour but without the Stamina regeneration penalty, it was awesome on my Knight xD

I'm using the Binded Set (the one Mirana uses), but it's not the same thing T.T
