I think in first 12 months it is going to hit 2 million, easy. Life time, maybe 3-3.5 million. Previews are glowing as someone said, who ever tried this and protype, likes this one more.Sony will push this one(it seems) with pre order deals and that Uncharted 2 beta(smart move), it will deliver.
reviews? Who gives a crap about reviews, i am getting it.

Yes, I know R&C is a well known franchise. But it's kind of stale these days and appeals mostly to a younger audience.

INFAMOUS is a fresh new franchise and appeals to users of all ages.

I can see it outselling Tools of Destruction, but I would expect A Crack in Time to sell more. R&C appeals to users of all ages as well, it's certainly not a "kiddy" game. And I don't find it stale at all, even after five games (granted, I've only owned three of them)

I with you on R&C being for all ages.  I'm not sure if inFamous is the same way.  It might be but more in the way GTA is than the way R&C is.

Reviews-late 80s to early 90s(Previews have been glowing, especially IGN's who went as far as to fall the game is a top-tier effort)

First week sales-250K to 350K

LTD-2 to 3 million

infamous im really looking forward to, ps3 is kicking ass in games this year.

i predict infamous will get plenty of 9`s and plenty of 8 - 8.5`s

of course fanboy reviewers will be at the pinch again giving it 6`s and a few 7`s

 

regarding sales, i think infamous will do very well. i know it will reach a million after that i dunno.
