Nintendo needs to step in and implement some sort of quality control. They need to tell some of these unproven companies, "No. You aren't releasing that shit on our console." It's the only way. I know Nintendo caught some flack for doing this, back in the Nes days, but nowadays, it's ridiculous. These companies that come in, trying to make a quick buck off of the Wii's success are going to kill video gaming. When a game like Okami isn't on store shelves because of shit like "Imagine Babyz", then something is very very wrong. No, I haven't played Imagine Babyz, but I imagine that if less stuff like this were on the market, some of the good games that got overlooked may have gotten a second look.

If we're talking about games that core (core = traditional gamers) enjoy, then yes I'd agree with you. That is a result from the developers expecting the Wii to fail and not taking it seriously until many years after it's launch. Developers went into the PS2's life expecting it to be the juggernaut and they made their best efforts on it. It's only natural that the PS2 has more great traditional games than the Wii.

Being "better" is subjective, since playing with the Wii remote is a hellofa lot more fun to me than a traditional controller, so that automatically raises the quality level of games for me.

I doubt the PS2 will last another 7 years, but if it does, I'd definitely expect the games to be joint Wii and PS2 games. That doesn't mean however that the Wii won't receive many original and exclusive great games.

I just went to IGN.COM to see if I spelled Babyz right. The game got a 7.5/10. A fucking 7.5? Imagine Babyz is a good game? I'm going to STFU now.

Galaxy, Madworld, Smash, RE4, Mario Kart, Okami, Call of Duty W@W, No More heroes, MP3, Zelda TP, Mushroom Men, etc...

See I've already listed more then ten games worth playing that I see at every gamestop I go into, on top of that there are plenty more that look like trash that people quite enjoy, are they "the best game evar" no, but they're fun for what they're worth, as wfz said quality is subjective as something like you'd play isn't something I'd play and we both could be talking about the same genre of "core" games.

Honestly if you can't find something to play it's either you have trouble looking or you just assume everything is shovelware trash and go around talking about it on the internet which doesn't make you look very good and it attracts trolls like you have done, good job.

Yeah, that's right, I think all shooters suck and are lame games that doesn't evolve and are all the same.

Are you all going to point out to me that these games sell extremely well? So what? Wii Fit almost outsold an entire freaking console? Does that make it a better game than others? I don't know, I have no right to say it does.

Are you all going to give me a list of reviews that tell me shooters and racers and other tired old genres on the HD systems are AAA-caliber games and the Wii games are not? Says who? The gaming review sites? Who the f#$k are they to tell me what games are good or not? I mean really, what gives them the right to tell me what game is good or not? What degree do they have to judge games? The last time I heard, all they have is a journalistic degree, if they have a degree at all...and that just tells me they have the ability to spew BS in a logical fashion...

Truth be told, I have no right to tell you that your games are full of shit, even if that is what I truly believe, and expect you to believe in it. And the same goes to you, the OP, and all those who believe in the OP. You can't say that all those games are shit, just because you don't like playing those games. B/c in the end, there are some people who actually like them and buy them to play.

So, really...get off your high-horse and join us "commoners." You don't have to like the games available...just don't act like you are better b/c of your tastes. B/C to me, your tastes sucks.

MGS2, GTA3, GTA Vice City, Tekken Tag, Gran Turismo 3, Silent Hill 2, Devil May Cry, Twisted Metal, Jak & Daxter, Half Life, Capcom vs Snk 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2, FFX, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament... etc.
