You think SE would have learnt from the amazingly bad sales of TLR, IU and SO4 on the 360 but i guess they are wanting to go bankrupt these days!

Looks at TLR sales... Riiight they look ok to me. IU would have been better it was rushed unfortunately. Star Ocean 4 is doing ok I wish it was doign better but I will leave judgement on that one and ToV until after European launches.

Dude...Just Ignore...They don't mind if SquareEnix makes games for Nintendo...It's when they make 360 games that pisses them...I have no Idea Why...Seems from the few responses from SonyLand that they do not care much for the tittle...I sure MS is Making Deals With SquareEnix to continue Exclusive Support.....But Anyways..If it was a PS3 exclusive they would have been all "IN YO FACE" and What not.....WHoopie!!!Another SE 360 game...and that usually plays real good with a very good narrative..

@Squall

LOL...Your So funny...You act Like Enix was selling by the zillions on it's own...And the reason they keep making games for 360 is that is the Western Market here has alot of 360 support....especially in in the SCI-FI department

I generally agree with what you're trying to say, but I wouldn't really defend those sales.

I want Mechwarrior back.

You and me both, though we might not have to wait much longer. The guys responsible for FASA studios started a new company called Smith & Tinker http://www.smithandtinker.com/news/ they bought the rights to Mechwarrior as well as Crimson Skies and Shadowrun.

Since they aren't on the E3 exhibitor's list I'm hoping they'll be attending next year, that or they are partners with Bandai portion of Bandai-Namco and we might be lucky enough to see an announcement this year but that's very unlikely.

I personally loved both the original Crimson Skies and Mechwarrior, just something appealing about picking a frame and then tweaking out the armor and weapons with a slot limitation or weight limitation and then taking it out and pitting it against other people in multiplayer.

:D I thought Mechwarrior died with FASA...thank the lord it didnt!

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Yup. I liked FASA the best out of all of Microsoft's Studios. It's kind of sad that those games were left hanging (Mech Assault & Crimson Skies)

It's safe to say that MS works together with SE to bring an RPG crowd to the 360...it's also Safe to that the PS3 owners expect to see RPG games mostly on PS3...as for the sales...you can't expect them to be that big when the majority of the 360 fanbase is FPS Oreinted..I Mean look at the sales of Halo3 and CoD4....You would think that KillZone 2 would gave PS3 the same scale...But so far that's not the case...Sounds Off topic but it's the truth the 360 has a smaller RPG fan Base...and due to the console Numbers in Japan...the Sales are not that bad....

Definitely Front Mission...

Yep.  Those are definitly wanzers.

I just hope it's still turn-based

Me too... maybe they'll go the super cheap route and remade FM5?

I'm not sure why they'd announce a SRPG at E3 though.  If it was a SRPG i'd expect it to be at TGS.

You're probably right. Everything it says in the mag seems to hint at it being different than the previous games. Even the trademarked name "Front Mission Evolved" signifies a departure from SRPG. Oh well...

Yeah.  I'm just a born pessimist myself.  I mean SE were saying they wanted to make more western oriented games and everything too.

Front Missions TPS.

Oh god.

Kinda my guess.  I'm expecting a "Mech Warrior" type game... but with squads.

Yes, you're kinda proving the necessecity of RPGs being multiplat.

I'm m going to ban anyone who says anything that's not about the game but purely whining about the platform and SE 360 exclusivity (while that's not even confirmed).

I'm sick and tired of the crying over Japanese sales of 360 JRPGs, when all people really care about is that the game is not on your system. That's indeed sad, but you can do two things:

a) Buy a 360
b) Don't play the game

You don't hear me whining about Valkyria Chronicles every single time, now do you? I'll simply buy a PS3 for that game eventually. Edit: I don't mean you outlaw, just noticed the VC example might make you feel that way.
