OP you lost credibility when you called Bush a king of war lol. Nobody really likes bush because most people disagree with what he did about Iraq. But Laffer you need to understand  that your country at the time didn't just take two planes into the heart of their economy. He was under pressure to do something about it. Iraq was a scapegoat in my opinion but then again people under pressure do stupid things. But by the way your stereotyping Americans by believing that if bush says buy american we do it, that is an ignorant statement. You do realize bush is the least popular president in American history. Are you one of those people who have a general dislike for Americans?

I never believed that all american will follow the word of G.W. Bush, it was said to provoque a discussion (but not political one).

And Yes, I am one of these people with GENERAL DISLIKE of american politics (not the people!!!) For me the american liberty or freedom and democrazy is not a model I would like to follow. I love Democracy, but not the american way, where complete dumbs can become president.

side note we have a republic, not a democracy. though our direct vote sort of matters, the states have the overall say in approving or disallowing a president. (see the electoral college) and on a few occasions in history have voted against the popular vote.
