Forums - Gaming - Sony: Wii owns the closet

Of course the Wii owns the closet. Recent polls show that the average american house only has 5 rooms, not including closets. If the numbers are to be believed, every house in america has at least 8 Wiis. Where do you think they put the extra ones?

I had to resort to keping some under the sink in the bathroom. My house is just too small.

I don't think this is that crazy. I own a Wii as do many of my friends. And almost all of them own another HD console (PS3/360). The Wii is usually brought out when there is a bunch of people around. The primary console of choice most other times tends to be a 360/PS3 though. (Yes, I know this is hardly scientific) but it certainly does make sense. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of polls, surveys conducted by Sony have revealed similar trends.

So yeah tons of people own their Wii. With that being said, a lot of people that own a Wii don't play it.

Some day I hope to have a reason to plug my Wii back in.

I wish that they would just be happy about the machine they made. Its not like it is a peace of junk or anything.

Why, keep saying such nonsense. If they are going to talk smack I would rather it be wrapped in facts. Maybe they could talk about how much more power their system has. Maybe they could talk about the life span of their system compared to Wii- something other than school yard talk.

I'm a Nintendo Fanboy and I could think of better things to say than an Exec? Where's My Money?

I think they are trying to be like Reggie. Problem is Reggie gives compliments to his competitors and talks about his companies faults.

Wii to come out of the closet confirmed!

In this day and age of video switchers do people still need to connect and disconnect devices, especially people that own a PS3? I have about 15 devices connected at the same time. Why would you need to pack up your Wii when you finish playing? The Wii uses component and the PS3 uses HDMI so it's not even like you need to use the same input on your TV for both. It's 360 and PS3 that would be competing for an input on the TV.

Of course I am over analysing. I realise that some people may use composite video for both Wii and PS3 and don't have a video switcher but most of all I realise that he is just being an absolute daft idiot as seems to be the case with many of the top folk at Sony Entertainment.

unfortunately, facts prove that once more Sony is wrong and acting childish at the same time

publishing this kind of stupid comments won't help the situation in any way, Sony

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Yeah well it seems like Sony's console is being the one in the closet when it comes to the sales. Everybody loves to hate the Wii because its the number 1 console. Wii owns the world, not the closet, but the world.

If Sony focused on their products instead their awful PR, the the PS3 might actually become a successful product instead of the biggest failure that their video game division has ever released.

You mean like winning best exclusives for 2008, voice control Singstar patch, Killzone 2, MLB 09:The Show, Flower, Fat Princess, inFamous, Uncharted 2, MAG, Heavy Rain, Demon's Souls, Ratchet & Clank Future:A Crack in Time, GoW3, EyePet, Singstar volumes, PlayTV, constant feature improving firmware updates, massive bandwidth increases, etc?  That's not being focused on their products?  If so, I hope they continue the course.

First of all its 2009. Second of all, most of your list isn't even available for purchase. My point stands. Sony needs to stop this pointless postering and focus on their products. They are always rattlling their saber in the media. At best it makes them look fooish. At worst, its costing them sales.

lol, I hadn't seen that before. In the closet is some of the funniest shit ever made. The first time I saw it, I was drunk and stoned at 5 in the morning, and I was just laughing so much my whole body hurt.
