"Generic and grey"

Did they play Gears? Killzone?

FYI, Killzone is not even close to being gray. If you had actually played through the whole game, you would've noticed that orange, yellow and red are the dominant colors in the game.

Right... FYI, ive beaten Killzone 2, 4 times.

Everyone who has played through the whole game knows that the Desert part is only for about a third of the game, if that.

The majority of the game is set in the Helghan capital, or indoors... where coincidentaly, things are Grey again.

So yeah, Grey is the dominant colour.

i still don't get why the conduit is being hyped so much. It doesn't really seem to do anything new or extraordinary. :\

Hm, we'll see soon enough how good it's really.

But please guys, don't stick to the generic and grey stuff. It's probably just a translation problem. I'm not too sure about swedish, but in german grey is just a synonym for something which just doesn't invent a genre from the ground up. A solid game with no really new inventions. But it got nothing at all to do with colours itself.

@Majin-Tenshinhan could you clarify that?

Well... He doesn't actually call the game grey... He's just saying he hopes it shows itself to be good, so it doesn't fall in with all the other grey, bland, boring games basically. He didn't say "This game is grey", particularly. It's just that he's saying he wants it to be good, I guess?

"Gamereactor criticized The Conduit for being generic and gray while also ragging a bit on the game’s controls."
i stopped reading after this. i guess wii games can't be generic and grey(even if they actuall aren't generic and grey) - ps360 have exclusivity for greyishness and genericness.

You need to read my post with the real translation. This thing is babelfished and heavily inaccurate. My post with a proper translation is somewhere in the middle of the first page (assuming you have 50 posts/page)

Killzone 2 is certainly not generic nor gray. It's more orange actually.

Check out my game about moles ^

You people really need to start reading the whole thread, maybe you'd find some interesting posts with a PROPER TRANSLATION???

@Majin Well we can't really say anything about the gfx level of the game since we really haven't had any kind of showcase that would tell us otherwise. We also don't know what build of the game that site was actually previewing so who knows.

I'll stick to the usual approach: wait and see.

If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...

Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.

Yeah, the guy really didn't know much more than we do, so I guess the actual graphical capabilities will remain unseen until the release.

Or until review copies get sent out.

as i said before it won't be what people think it will be

This thread delivers, it's like the people with PS3 type sigs never read the entire thread XD. btw KZ2 is pretty grey, if anything it's more brown than orange =P.
