I've always liked the idea of having it so that a tap on the "X" button brought out the messages side-panel, and holding "X" down to bring up their profile.

I'd be happy with that aswel.

i cant tell u how many times i get stuck in a game and have to quit or go to my PC to look up a walkthrough or something would be nice if we could pause and check up things real quick but i dont think it will happen this gen |
Never happen to me as i always use browser from ny netbook while playing on ps3 :D
Still browser while playing should be done, cross over voice chat and they could add trophies for PS1 games - just a single bronze for finishing it nothing fancy would still be cool.
And for god's sake release trophies for PSP games and make them cumulative with ps3 ones - it would certainly increase brand loyalty and could bump psp sales quite a bit.

That is the things I can think of off the top of my head that I want from future updates. I also have some ideas for how services are run, but that is for another thread.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

An option to turn off the trophy notification in screen. That's all.

1) Like Nordlead, move the battery indicator! There's a massive six inches between the top of the XMB and the top of the screen!
2) In game web browser. Not that I'd ever look up game hints or anything like that...
3) Backwards compatibility! Not happening
4) Trophy leaderboard...still.
5) PSN to be more streamlined, not so all over the place. I don't like the look of the friends list, it's so boring! And you have to scroll through a bunch of options before you even get to your friends!
6) (If this can be done with software) Allow the PS3 to charge controllers while in Standby.
7) Improve the web browser. I don't care if it's better than IE (it is, supposedly). Nobody with any technological sense has used IE for at least a year now. Make it as good as Firefox.
8) Add more avatars to the database, or let us use custom images
That's all I can think of, for now. There's more. Much more.

How could I forget that? I hate finding two week old unread messages. I don't routinely scan my friends list, and if I do, I shouldn't have to.
Now, we just need to email Sony and link this thread.
Id like when you receive a message to hear a noise like when you get a trophy but not the same sound and updated an internet browser, in game music doesn't bother me and in the long run ps2 bc but at the moment I'm fine just plugging in my old ps2
