The Official Conduit Thread

I think we VGChartz users, should start a thread dedicated to what might be the best FPS the Wii has to offer.

I think we should discuss what the sales of the game will be first week.

If the game will have strong legs after the first 10 weeks of its release.

Even after the game is out we can talk about what we like about the game and if the online mode is good.

So I think I am going to start off with the my prediction for what the first week sales will be worldwide.

My prediction for the first week sales WW are 320k.

Also on this thread, you can post the latest Conduit gameplay and interview videos in this thread.

By the way, Here's one of the latest Conduit videos:

Good idea Snake, I think your predictions for first week sales are way too high though.

What I'm interested in is what people think the best weapons for the game are. I like the blue weapon that shoots the cylinders that sort of disintrigrate the enemy.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I think there's already an official Conduit thread, really old one though, so a new one might be in order after all.

As for sales predictions... It's really hard to say. I think 200k first week might be achieveable (ww) and 2 million LTD is possible, though I won't say that's what I'm expecting. As long as HVS and Sega are happy with the games' sales I'll be happy too.

I have high hopes for this game.

I like the one that you fire and then direct with the pointer.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I am thinking around 50-80k first week sales. This game will have good legs though and will sell at least 2 million life time.
