Count me in with Darc Requim.
Played part 1, FF4(original release as 2) being my favorite. Cecil, Kain, Edge and Rydia just totally rock.

While I give FF7 a nod to for adding a good movie element to the series. It also seem to shift away from being a good game, but it is memorable.

I follow this with FF6 good world saving story and FF12 for it's refreshing political(but controversial) and new combat experience.

Though I do hold that first games tend to be the most favored due to emotional association rather than them being a good game.

FFI on the NES was my first, but not my best. FF started booming for me from FF6,7,8,9,10 ...an amazing 5 game streak!

Final Fantasy 7 was my first.
And it is still my fave FF game.... but 9 comes close.

My firsy was FFVIII and its still my favorite ff game but i still havent been able to beat it cause my brother sold his PS2 and my PS2 craped out on me (stoped reading all discs)

X-2 was my first but.... not my favorite... So far it's about even with 9 for me. I'm loving FFIV more than the both of them so far.VII i've bearly started, and I didn't like XII's story much at all.... or the characters [excluding fran and balthier].

I really enjoyed FF2 though, didn't finish, I had about 15 hours in but it was really good.

Nope. My first was FFX, and it's one of my least favorite in the series.

My first Final Fantasy was a remake of FF1. Nope, probabaly the worst of the ones I played/tried.
