Will VGC 2.0 lift Vg Chartz Website Ranking to the level of say IGN, 1up, Eurogamer & so on?

Is it the MAIN AIM? is it possible

I mean VGC 2.0 will come

WHAT are your expectations from it mods, ioi & users?

Should we AT LEAST expect an influx of many more users (not members necessarily) but USERS/VIEWERS coming to this site?

I dont think 2.0 will attract many new users at all, theres far more effective ways of doing that. It'l just make the site better which is great

Uh...do you really have any idea what IGN is? Do you realize that it has a staff of PAID writers who only work there? IGN is a behemoth and to suggest that a simple facelift to this site is going to catapult us to what they have accomplished in over a decade isn't very realistic.

My advice: keep your expectations grounded.

Visitors are attracted by content. All we can do is try and expand on the content provided - the numbers and the editorial stuff.

Now, the interface of 2.0 might make people stick around more, but it's not going to drive visits by itself.

Thank the lord you guys realize this.  For a while now I thought you were all just delusional....but at least you acknowledge it.  My faith in PS3 fanboys returns...somewhat.

Here's the real problem.  VGChartz' chief asset is its numbers.  And right now the numbers really aren't that exciting.  We know who's winning and who's losing and it isn't likely these positions will change too much....even with all you ps3 fans crsossing your fingers and throwing pennies in the wishing well at the same time. 

So you'll probbaly really have to wait until the next generation when things are back to a clean slate before we see the explosion you are referring to.

OT:  I doubt that it will be IGN levels, but I do think that a nice face lift will help attract more people to the site
