Good for Sony, so greater market share don't necessarily equates to greater SW sales.

With it's SW dominance in others sony must really hope for the currency in UK/Euro to gain strength as this can prove to be far more beneficial than it's SW sales in US.

A return to the US$2 for £1 and a strong Euro (as before the downturn) can result in some nice profits.

GTA IV also sold quite a bit more on PS3 than 360 in Others:

PS3: 2.92 million
360: 2.50 million.

It's just that in America, thanks to the userbase, the 360 version of GTA IV destroyed the PS3 version, 4.39 million to 2.39 million. If Sony actually focused on Europe for PR, for a change, they'd find they wouldn't have to do so much spinning.

Good news for Sony I suppose, though the units aren't by much and when you go World Wide It's usually Japan thats the saving grace for units sold. Though RE5 will probably be overall 360 thanks to the US.
