I'm miffed that Versus 13 isnt on 360. Iwantedto keep my main collection on the system with the most Jrpg's. Hopefully it will come later.

Besides Endof Eternity looks better in my opinion. :)

 

why I am buying this game on PS3!

1. All the other square enix/soft games that I can play on my bc compatitable ps3 for the ps2/ps1.

2. I like to hear that "chime" and see a nice looking trophy so for me Trophies>>>>>>>coffee>>>>>>>>achievements.

3. I love not having to get off my suede sofa to change multiple disk.

4. That 7.1 lpcm (no audio loss)will sound nice with my surround sound system and so will the "higher" resolution textures due to minimal compression as well.

I was kind of miffed that tales of vesperia was not on the ps3 and then I checked the site and saw that it was coming to a console near me.  So only now the only other game I would have got a 360 for is now gone, that was the nail in the coffin of my decision to pick up the 360.  Plus I would rather get the wii, at least then I will have all the "important" rpg's of this generation (IMOB).

Lack of support? Check the sig dude, it is mandatory to have all games with trophies since the beginning of 2009.  The smooth rpg like leveling system trumps the ticker style gamer score of the 360 (IMOB).

I actually don't know myself why 360 is better at textures and the PS3 is better at poly's as I'm just a lowly designer, it's the guys who wrote the engine that tells me that.  They know what they're doing so I just take their word for it.  >_>

  1. Stop asking people that.  The first time, whatever, but now you've made the same exact response twice and it really doesn't change anything.  You've also done this in other threads, just stop it.
  2. Stop making one word answers.  You've made a few and I was on the fence about letting them slide but you've made a few, you've made more in other threads, and now you're just asking everything the same question.

The poor placement thing is subject to opinion (I like achievements and want to see them when I get them) but if you're griping about the little box, it's not something to take up with MS achievements in general, it's something to take up with the developer.

 

They choose when and where to award you the achievement or trophy.  If they do it at a bad time or place that is completely their fault and has nothing to do with the achievement system.

 

Well if 'every' developer puts achievements in the middle of the screen?  It might actually be something you want to take up with MS achievements in general.  The end result is the same to the consumer (Regardless who is to blame).   Sure the developer might have the choice of most things of that nature. But the end result remains the same.

And poor achievement placement is every bit as good of a reason for disliking achievements as I've read for people disliking trophies.
