I really don't think that can be the answer.  The sales for like 3 weeks afterwards showed very little change.  It gave it a 30k bump initially, but that was just to tie the 360 for the week.  Now it is showing that it gave a much larger bump and I just don't see KZ2 moving many consoles.  It hasn't sold to a very large percentage of the userbase yet, so I don't see why so many others would have jumped on board because of it.

Anyways, there are adjustments every single week. You may not notice them, but I do because I watch the PL results. Honestly I don't care why they were adjusted, I just care that they are "correct"

Well ioi has just taken running the site as a full time job, so he has said that he will report major adjustments. I would like an updates section where he can post things like that, and give notification of future updates and other things

I guess when I think of minor, I think 3-5k adjustments. When it goes from 8.25 to 8.08, that's .17 (a change of 170k!) and I consider that quite a large adjustment to come all of the sudden.

These adjustments already happened over a week ago.

Think of it in percentages.

.17 is ~2% of 8.25. Not much of an adjustment at all. Of course, this isn't 100% correct, as that 170k adjustment may only affect the last 1m sales, in which case it is ~17% adjustment which is fairly big.

Also, the weekly sales tend to fall within 20% of "real life", and as time goes on they get closer to within 5% so adjustments must be made.

as a FYI, some retailers report information weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or possibly slower. There are also other sources such as fiscal results, NPD, chart track, and other public sources.
