Thank you microsoft for continuing to provide me with great games and content! Your competitors have failed to do that, so i am glad that you have!

The "best exclusive games of 2008" award says you're wrong.  The current 2009 exclusive games list says you'll probably be wrong again.

the games in my collection and whats available says i am right

metacritic still says he's right

they are doing what Nintendo used to do with the GameCube, i have a PS3 with MGS4 only! all the other games are even on the Wii. What made me buy a PS2 back in the day, was that it had GTA3, MGS2SOL, Ace Combat.

I'm not a fan boy of any thing, whatever wins i don't care. As long as i enjoy good games

“Microsoft has had a much more lenient policy to writing cheques than we do,” he said. “We don’t feel the need to write cheques necessarily with every publisher, like they did with the Lost and Damned and some other titles, because we feel very strongly in our first-party line-up. “I think it’s safe to say that we’d put our first-party line-up against anyone’s, and Microsoft and other manufacturers probably lead a little bit when they’re writing cheques about how they feel about their own internal line-up.”

"Lenient" really meaning "because we can't aford to this Gen otherwise we would".

Well, at least he didnt come out and deny the fact that Sony wrote a lot of checks during the PS2 era, because they could actually aford it then....:).  Something MS has the ability to do this Gen.

The irony here is if there is ANYONE making money this gen.. its nintendo.. but they dont seem to care bout 3rd party

and M$ who have billions of dollars at their disposal who are pretty much buying all the games they can get.

The odd one out seems sony. No money. no checks.. tsk tsk

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

I think Microsoft's strategy is better because they can drop the support from companies that don't succeed enough while Sony puts a lot of effort on mildly successful games.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

all I am saying is, if ms can afford to do it then why not? Who cares aslong as the games keep coming. Either way, both companies are paying for games in some form or another.

It's stupid to argue these things since it has the same principle of glass of water being filled 50%. You can either take an optimistic or pesimistic approach.

I for one am optimistic about games being delivered regardless of how the company gets them!

Well if sony had enough money to throw around they would!!

Being a cricket fan is much simpler and more fun

Koller is fighting this console war singlehandedly.

What a hero.

Other manufacturers? I can't see anyone accusing Nintendo of moneyhatting. Nintendo's problem if anything is that they put too little pressure on devs.

So maybe he means Apple? Anyone heard rumours that Apple moneyhatted? Also, this is a good day for the Iphone if that was who he was refering to - you know you've entered the big league when others start talking shit about you

apple does kinda do that with flash ram they buy so much it bends prices.... also they bought up a few arm chip designers (what powers ipods/iphones and crusie missles) .... oh and what become osx was once Nextstep.... um and Itunes it was someone elses..... final cut too..... hmmm and that new distributed version of final cut was a more recent aquisition ....

dont get me wrong i love apple but the go out and buy then improve and release alot of times even the original mac os was part of a purchase deal for stock from xerox.
