Hurray for blatant trolling! Ahh well, I suppose a person could take solace in the fact that Nintendo's games run circles around Microsoft's. Or the fact that supposedly, Motorstorm is made up of the same demographic as Fable 2.

Of the PS3 games you selected theres 5 new IP's, 1 game (singstar) that never sells amazing, and a $40 demo. Then theres Killzone 2 which although highly hyped its not a big series, in fact most people don't know there was a Killzone. Ratchet & Clank and Resistance 2 sold well, I have nothing to say about them. For 360 theres 1 new IP, and all 4 were highly hyped (including Halo 3 which was bigger than the moon landing). It'll be more fair when its the 4 360 games you selected vs. Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Killzone 2, and Resistance 2 when they're done selling.

So its only fair when Sony has made more games? Also those four 360 games I mentioned won't sell more?
Bear in mind I only included Sing Star because I did the top 10 Sony games and it was number 10.
Like I've said about GT5 Prologue...
"GT5 Prologue is a demo that offers more than some completed games. It also has online play and downloads. For a demo that's quite a package and its also sold at a budget price. There's no doubt in my mind that GT5 will sell great. But this is also a GT being released on the worst selling Sony console ever."

Nintendogs wouldn't be a success on the 360 and Gears of War wouldn't be in demand on the DS.
Motorstorm might sell well on the 360 and Fable 2 might sell well on the PS3.
The 360 and PS3 have a much more similar audience while the DS and Wii is very different. But obviously you knew this.
A good example would be that Call of Duty sells much better on HD consoles. Grand Theft Auto on the DS is the worst selling game in the series.
Gears 1-2 aren't first or second party... Just like heavy rain, even if it's published by SONY/MS it's not an owned IP nor do they own the developer....
Every IP on the SONY list... SONY OWNS
4 ≈ One

Don't worry, when GT5 gets released, you will be able to add Halo:ODST to replace Fable II.
By the way, the new IP excuse is bullshit. Halo, Gears of War and Gran Turismo all have been extremely popular after the first game in the series.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
Wow I'm so inthralled, could you post some more inane chatter to prove how much you love your console of choice?
assumption is the mother of all f**k ups
One of my favorite games this gen was Siren for the PS3, and it wasn't even on that list. In fact, R & C alone was worth of a PS3 purchase. Good stuff. Glad SONY is catering to the gamer. In my case, a platformer and survival/horror fan.

Of course people like to sing-along while playing Gears of War. It's like singing in the shower... Or something.

Heard of a game called Killzone 2? @ saimcheeda they did deliver killzone 2 recently @ phinch1 halo would never makes its way to the top of a ps3 list or gears... keep dreaming Gears of War and Halo 3 would outsell Resistance and Killzone 2 easily on the PS3. |
Halo 3 did not sell on its own merits, it sold on brand name, fanbase and advertising. On the PS3, to be frank, it would have none of those. I can guarantee you that 90% of people who owned Combat Evolved/Halo 2 now own a 360.
So no, they wouldn't. Not at all. The same way that Gran Turismo 5 on 360 would perhaps cross 2 million, but would not reach the astronomical sales it would get on PS3 (In case you were interested, I'm predicting ~8 million lifetime).
