Trying to pick just five games is hard. Uematsu made some great soundtracks, but so did Mitsuda (you know him - Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, all that wonderful Celtic-flavored stuff), and so did many others. The Mother series has wonderful soundtracks, but they're wonderful in different ways from the soundtracks of Final Fantasy VI or Chrono Trigger or Dragon Quest.

That battle theme from Lunar 1 is from the original game(Sega CD version), not the PS1 remake. Why its on the soundtrack CD is something I'm still wondering. I haven't played the original one but I sure don't remember hearing that one in PS1 version.
