The PS2 era must have been great for developers, if logic is correct game development was cheaper yet games sold huge numbers.....profit margins must have been quite something back then. :(

I cant see it happening seeing how PS2 had the 6th generation all to itself but this generations so spread out

No unfortunately this generation is Nintendo dominated (not quite as hard as sony had the last one but still), therefore since Nintendo has such a strong 1st party pressence on their consoles the Wii and the DS will both probably have more total # of software sold but they will be more concentrated at the high end (10, 20, 30 million + games)

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
