You 360 fanboys need to realize... GT4 selling 9.65 million STILL BEAT HALO 3's 9.4 million. GT4 was also the second itteration of GT on the PS2! The first one, GT3, sold 14.85 million.

GT5 will have absolutely 0 issue surpassing Halo 3 in LT sales, and has a very good chance at beating it in the first week. GT5 is a system mover, whether you like it or not. I'll be buying a very expensive logitech wheel myself for the game, its ridiculous how good ALL of them are. There is no racing simulator even fraction of a percentage close to it.

GT5 > Halo3. Simple.

You'd have to be delusional to think Halo 3 won't beat GT4 in the end. As for GT5, there's no way to know for sure. If Sony heavily bundles GT5 the way they did with GT3, it might beat Halo 3 in lifetime sales.

I know it's hard for you Halo fanboys to swallow, but GT is just a more popular series worldwide, accept it. I'd put my money that Halo 3 WON'T surpass GT3.

GT DOES NOT have the same popular culture significance as Halo.

Non gamers know about halo.  GT is not as popular and does not have the name recognition halo has.

Plain and simple.

Halo movies, halo mountain dew, halo burger king, halo everything.......GT has none of those.

Also, GT prologue had an average metacrtitic score of just 80.  While Forza had a score of 90....pure ownage.

ALSO, GT developers OPENLY ADMIT forza is ahead of GT in features.  So there ya go

4 million week one but less than 6 million since. I don't think FFXIII will sell 4 million copies in Japan in one week. It could do close to two million there in one week and it has the potential to be like GTA IV and sell more on two consoles than Halo 3 did on one console; however, I don't think the audience for the game on 360 in the West will be all that large.

FFXIII probably has the potential to hit 10 million. 8 million on PS3 and 2 million on 360, but it will probably wind up in the 5 to 7 million range instead.

GT5 will have stiffer competition from Forza than any past GT game ever has, so I feel it will also probably finish up around 6 million.

So I say ltd, 7 million for FFXIII (4 to 5 million on PS3, no more than 2 million on 360) and 5 million (2 million Japan, 2 million Europe, 1 million US) for GT5.

God of War III probably about 3 to 4 million ltd.
