But the thing you don't take into account is that it has the GT name on it and any playstation fan that owns a PS3 would have bought it.  If halo came out with a demo like game called halo prologue (or something along that line) it would most likely sell at least 75% of the sales that halo 3 is selling.  But i guess time will tell, and we'll see who was right and who was wrong...

Yet Halo 3 came out with a fanbase about what GT3 had and it managed to sell 4 million first week. Which is way more than GT3 sold so it looks like your the ignorant fanboy  its keeping up with about 30% tie ratio with the 360

GT3 did nearly 15 million and came out on a 12 million user base, Halo3 only needs another 5 million to catch up lol.  Iam sure it will do it soon ha.

Using your incredibly flawed logic games like wii fit and wii sports and nintendogs are more popular than GT could ever hope to be, all because of the amount of units they sold and we all know they aren't as popular as halo 3 or GT series.  So like you said "The proof is in the pudding"

And to add to that do you ever hear people saying "oh lets go over to so and so's house to play Gran turismo!!" or "Lets have a Gran Turismo party!!"  no.  its always halo parties and such...And the amount of people that play halo and enjoy it that DON'T have a 360 is just staggering, I know from personal experience that most of my friends played halo 3 once in a while and most didn't own a 360, and i know i'm not the only one...Guitar hero is also alot like that, more popular than GT.  Yes GT 3 doesn't have first week sales for EU or US BUT you have to be a blinded idiot to believe that it sold more than Halo 3 in its first week, If it would have sold even close to that amount, you would have most likely heard it in the news or there would have been an article on it.  So climb out from under your rock and take a look at the world!!  you will see once GT5 comes out that Halo 3 is miles more popular than GT.
