In another thread, multiple people chimed in that Microsoft is "almost getting crushed by Sony".  Things are so bad, Microsoft has to slash prices on their system, and they are DOOMED.  Anyone know what the heck that is about?  I am going to assume possibly sarcasm, but on here people say crazy things.

This is worse than a NY Post article that had a title that McCain was climbing on Obama, when McCain was flat, while Obama's support was declining.

The difference between the consoles was very small this week and people jumped the gun without realising that adjustments to sales has been made. (?) Regardless the consoles are still very close, $100 price cut by Sony for the PS3 and things will get very interesting to say the least.

360 fanboys talking out there ass since the price cut, I assume before that it was the Sony fanboys doing so when the PS3 was winning between the two......while then Nintendo fans laugh as the other two fight for scraps.

No reason to make an entire thread, just because some one took this week's numbers for granted.

Its because PS3 and 360 are so close in sales this week.

hmmm...I dunno really....It kinda reminds me when ps3 was able to outsell the 360 @ KZ2 release day by 12k the 360 fanboys wer screaming "OHHH IT'S ONLY 12k AHEAD FAIL FAIL FAIL!!" so maybe the ps3 fanboys are doing the same thing which clearly shows how hypocrit and immature fanboys are.

Because last holiday season was meant to be the holiday before the PS3 overtook the Xbox 360, and this is a small measure of comfort? I dunno...

its b/c the sales are pretty close this week with ps3s current price of more than half the price in EU and half in the other regions

things will be worse for MS wen the ps3 gets its next price cut later this year
