I'm probably going to start ripping reviews of WiiWare/VC/Dsi Ware games. Does anyone see anything objectionable about that? They'll be linked and credited, of course.

And by 'ripping' - do you mean copying from other sites??? That would probably not be a good idea and would go against the whole concept of 'community driven reviews'...

No, I mean getting them from this site. "Ripping" was probably the wrong word: "linking to" is more apt.

For your big WiiWare/VC/DSiWare topic, right?

Yes. But I won't if people will object, which is why I'm asking if anyone thinks someone will. Better to ask permission and whatnot.

Some of these Review Ratings are mind boggling. It's like you have to review unknown games that don't in some way give that rival console an "edge". I mean, the highest rating for Killzone 2 Reviews is a 75% and the highest for MGS4 is 71.5%. It wouldn't be a problem if these reviews were mindless dribble, but these are reviews that had time and thought put in them.

Come on VGChartz Community, encourage the community's time and involvement in this site, don't stifle it.

^^^ For real. I'm getting pissed. One of my reviews has a 63.64%, and has bought my user rating down to to a 75%. It's bullshit!

I think that only owners of the game should be able to rate, like before, to a small extent.

^ Or maybe a rate/day limit? like only 5 rates a day?

Looks like someone liked my Killzone 2 review.  I appreciate people like you on this site.

Shouldn't we get VG$ for these? :3

Yes, I think my GTA IV review got penalised because I gave it 9.9 and probably the same for CoD because I gave it 9.7. We should really be rating the quality of review, not the score. At lest my Uncharted review is still at 100 (and it had the highest hits of any last time I checked)

Awesome! Might I suggest that we be able to sort the reviews by other criteria? Like game, date etc.

My Resistance 2 review has been rated down from 100% to 66%, and I have no clue why

Is it possible to add just a small box or something that presents guidelines for rating? Or maybe when somebody tries to rate a review, a popup comes up asking people why they are rating as they are, and if they have the right reasons for such. Like "You should only rate a review if you think the review doesn't justify the score, or the review was badly written. Not because you disagree with it."

Or just encourage people to comment in some way.
