One of Nintendo's developers has stated that a Pikmin Ds game is possible and he is shocked that Nintendo didn't make one yet. Also, a Pikmin game was confirmed to be in development and MANY say that it will be on wii but it has not been confirmed which system it would be on.

Either would be awesome. But after playing New Play Control Pikmin, I want a Pikmin Wii the most!

I'd say Wii. Though I could see how a DS version could work very well. Though it'd obviously have to be in 2D or some sort of semi-3D. But the double screens and stylus control could make for some very interesting and fun gameplay I think.
