Really? So far FE9 is a breeze (chapter 12 I believe). Guess it gets harder then. (Difficult mode).

It gets harder..

Really? I remembered FE9 as ludicrously easy (easier than FE8), but maybe I'm wrong.

Could be, but it is this time around too (chapter 14 I think). I checked my stats compared to the average, and they're mostly normal (except for all my sword users having 2-5 extra points in magic...)

Lucky you. RNG either loves a character or hates it for me. In FE6, my Roy is godly. His stats are all in the upper teens at 20/0. Once he promotes, he'll probably cap at least 3-4 of them.

By contrast, my Wolt has gone roughly 6-7 levels of only 1 or 2 +'s. I'm giving up on him in favor of Sue who is better in every possible way stat-wise.

My mist hasn't gone up a single level in Magic, but her str now > her magic.

My Nephenee capped her Str (20 str) the average is 13.2 at lv 19. Her speed is at 12, the average is 18.

And Ike is just terrible as hell.

But overall, I'm not really blessed or burned. Most characters are closer to the average than I'm used to though.

That's both good and bad.  I'm used to extremes and I guess I kind of prefer them.  I can always level up more characters so in the end I just want a team of amazing ones.  It's sad when I really want to use a character only to have RNG mess it up.

I generally use them regardless of whether they're RNG great or terrible (well, the ones I like the most anyway). The fact that my lv 19 Ike gets owned by my lv 18 Mia in every single stat is a bit sad though.

I'm really using some characters I didn't use last time now. And Laguz is actually pretty decent (I just skipped them last time around).

Me I loved summoners assuming this is the Fire Emblem I think it is. I found their Summon ability screwed with the opponents and gave you "free" damage and worked as good bait.

Been a while though.

With the exception of bringing them into battle "just for supports," I will usually make room for more capable characters... unless I really really like them for some reason.

Most enemies die in 1-2 hits at those levels.  I found a higher Magic cap to be more useful.

I generally bring the most happy (cheerful) characters along. People like Shinon and Gatrie? I won't even bother re-recruiting them.

I'm the same way but I generally bring a couple characters I'm not using too much into each battle and have them support each other.  If the support makes the character more interesting then I'll try it.
