It said in the article that the demo was just a bunch of video thats available on the nets. What's the deal with that.

The Demo in Japan is an actual PLAYABLE Demo, one that was originally slated for both Japan and WW release. NOW, the US and EU versions will not have the Game Demo, instead some damn videos that we could find and see off the internet.

Am I the only one who thinks MS didn't moneyhat this one? I mean, it makes sense for SE to make it multi in the west, especially america.

I thought that the rumours were that there would not be a demo on the US version... but anyway

What is confusing me, is that on the missing page of the OPM UK FF XIII preview it said "We're actively working on the European version" (it is quoted on the opposite page) which goes against what they said about not working on localisation until after the game is completed for Japanese release, and maybe this does point towards the demo coming outside of Japan

There is also an OXM UK preview of it (which seems to be written for those who have never heard of FF games before {making the point of telling us it is huge in Japan}) which might indicate that they are already working on the Xbox version as well, which might mean that they have pretty much finished the game, but most likely they are just playing the PS3 version and do not mention it. But they also mention that "there's only nine months left" which might mean a very early 2009 release... but I think I am over analysing here

oh ok, I was confused about that whole videos thing. I see. I'm going to import AC anyway because I've taken Japanese for 3 years now and I've gotten pretty good.
