@btfeather

trust you to bring some negativity to a 360 thread...

       Well, according to the Game Trailer's videos page this game is also in development for the PC so unlike The Unseen (which its trailer resembles), more than likely this game won't be vaporware.  However, it's also not a 360 exclusive.

i dont thik you understand this but they mean consoles exclusive

       The title isn't misleading to me.  But, I think it would be misleading to many people.  An exclusive means it is only going to be on one platform.  Eg. God of War III and Uncharted 2, you don't see the title God of War 3 or Uncharted 2 console exclusive, then flip over to the page with their videos and see they are also on PC

^ The crazy thing is PS3 and PSP are to different platforms. But both Sony. Noone kicks up a fuss when a game is on both and called exclusive.

PC and 360 are both M$, so yeah it's exclusive to M$. So I dont see the problem anyway. PC sales dont affect console sales. And if they do, we are talking only a few thousand at most.

It's just that I think the 360 gets a lot of sales from games like these. People stumble across websites and they see the 360 is getting another exclusive, which makes them think they have another reason to rush out an pick up a 360 when most of the time the game is also going to be on PC. If a game hasn't also been announced as being on another console or the pc then I think it is alright to call it an exclusive, but if it is coming to 360 and PC, I think the title should be "________ is coming to 360 and PC" and if it is coming to PS3 and PSP, then it should be "_______ is coming to PS3 and PSP."

We are a minority on the internet though. Most people out there wont be arsed to keep their PC updated to play the latest software. I'm an avid gamer, but certainly over the last 3 years, I would take a comfy sofa and a cup of coffee over a higher resoulution and minor AA differences sat at a desk. I must be feeling my age. :)

In that case it's probably still called a Sony exclusive, not a PS3 exclusive.

But PCs are not a MS property, so you can't say it's a MS exclusive.

All of this is silly anyway, I find it perfectly clear what the writer _means_ when I find the "console exclusive" expression :)

360 exclusive coming to a superior format ala PC? Yesh spending that £600 a year ago has really come in handy!

No actually. PC is a open platform which includes systems from OSX to Windows based platforms to Unix based systems. The hardware is not owned by microsoft, and windows is only a medium, which you don't have to pay royalities unless you go under the "Games for windows" development.

Fanboys are funny really, they constantly want something, so they'll twist it to fit there own design. The game is not exclusive, and will look better on PC, get over it. You just  want to somehow make PS3 fanboys get mad over all the "exclusives" like bioshock!(PC, PS3, 360).... Mass effect!(PC 360, same with 2).... Gears!(PC 360) in fact most of the big hitters are multiplat, yet you would say exclusive, what kind of fucked up logic are you running?

PS3, 360, and WII are all personal computers. Console is just to describe they are meant for gaming and prebuilt.

^ Easy fellas. I couldnt care less. Lets get back on topic to the game. Create another thread if you want to discuss royalties as to whether a game being on 1 console beneifts that console. Geez. I made it pretty clear in the thread title anyways.

Now back OT: Game sounds amazing.
