WTF!?

Mine would have to be FFX, that ending destroyed me.

FF Tactics, hands down the best story ever written in a video game. (Tales of Xillia 2 has pulled a close second now though)
Also FF4 and FF6.

IV, VI and X, couldn't pick just one.

Everything from 6 to 10

X and XII for me.

Although i did not finish it, I absolutely love FFXII. The political/war story really kept me going and the judges were absolute badasses. The main characters were alright and even Vann was a pretty chill protagonist (although idk who the fuck designed his clothing) I got about 28 or 38 hours in when I had to give my borrowed copy back to my cousin and I don't think he still owns it. The fact that romance had very little to do in the story was also a big plus. I hate sappy love stories in my RPGs. They literally make me gag, although I still enjoyed FFX from start to finish.

Second best would be the FFVII saga. Crisis core was an amazing game and probably my favorite from all FFVII Lore because of the huge untold story and new characters added into the game.

Crisis Core! How could I forget Crisis Core!? It had a brilliant story.

9 is the best final fantasy game without a doubt!! absolutely brilliant!

It's also the highest rated final fantasy game ;)

Final Fantasy IX.

I love Final Fantasy as a series, but some of the storylines are either too convoluted (FFX and its ending), bland (looking at you XII), and amateurish (I don't know if it was due to bad localization efforts or it being an SNES game but some of the dialogue in FF3/6 was just laughable).  For the record, I love and have beaten all of the games above (among others in the series), so I'm not trying to troll here.

Just felt IX did what the others could not do when it came to story.  It maintained a very balanced approach with its simple yet warm narrative and sympathetic cast of characters.

FF8, playing it right now for the 20th time maybe lol.
Rinoa = Ultimecia!! That was one hell of a twist.....
