Exactly. We want to presume (given past shadiness) that Reggie is lying to us, and not this Tecmo guy. But why would Reggie say "We are not the publisher," so specifically, rather than simply saying "It is not on our release schedule" like they do for the other games they're trying to sweep under the rug?

 

Unless Reggie thinks that this is a better excuse in Fatal Frame IV's case (pin it on Tecmo, and they can take the heat, but that again presumes a lot of blatant dishonesty on his part, which i'm not ready to haphazardly pin on him)

Oh complete bullshit.  When's the last time MS or Sony decided to step up and make sure a game got localized.  I mean other than one of their own properties it just doesn't happen.  Really, Ninty is the only one I can think of ever doing it. 

 

Most people in here complaining don't even deserve the game anyways.  Ya don't buy Wii games nor do you play it so you don't deserve it.  For people like me that do deserve it, we can be outraged but because we are already more calm and understanding.  Probably because we understand that half of the people asking for entitlement in here probably are the cause.

Judging by what he just said, by buying games (he probably means the more "hardcore" games) and playing the Wii (a lot?).

A perfect example is the recently announced "Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman!" Sony didn't want to publish their own game but allowed another company to do for them. (Nippon Ichi)

That's what this case is here, from the quote we have from the Tecmo guy. Nintendo has the rights and doesn't want to give those away.

 

And if really want to get to my point, which is that even though everyone knows the game isn't going to sell well, Sony or MS has published the title to cater to fans. (Hot Shots Golf, Folklore, Ninja Blade, Infinite Undiscovery, KUF, etc.) I'm not saying Nintendo doesn't do it as well, but they aren't in this case.

I wasn't saying that you were, I was just exaggerating some of the Nintendo rage in this thread.

People need to calm down, the game hasn't even been released in Europe yet.
