I only owned a GC past gen. I buyed it because it had lots of good games according to what I like. I never had intentions on buying a PS2 or Xbox. PS2 because it breaks easily and Xbox because... ok, let's put it this way: Why should I buy it?

I loved my GC and also it had the best controller past gen. The only thing I missed were some more RPGs.

ah yes, 2nd best title screen ever... the music is great. best title screen is the dancing startroopers in Rogue Squadron [was it 2 or 3]

I bought my GC last, PS2 first, xbox purely for XBMC, GC for Mario Cart and the Zeldas.

I only own a Gamecube from last generation but I was totally missing out on PES/Winning Eleven (later imported it but I wish I had owned it sooner).

I only bought Gamecube because I love Nintendo.

Having only a gamecube, I missed the katamary damacy game. Even though I played at my friend's house a few time, it's the only game that I really missed. I'm pretty happy with all the nintendo franchise like mario, metroid, pikmin, zelda, etc.
