What are your thoughts on Bisexuality, does it even really count as a sexuality or is it just a fancy word for people who are confused, experimenting or just female? Is it natural for all females to be Bisexual, or do they just like to tease? What about guys, I have a hard time imagining a guy wanting to swap between either choice on a whim, it just seems more concrete to seem them as either strait or gay, nothing inbetween. Am I alone on this?

P.S. Got the idea for this watching an early morning Jerry Springer re-run.

Check this thread. Not entirely about bisexuality but... let's say it's pretty close...

If you want to know something about sexuality take a psychology course on it.

The truth is... most of the people in the world are actually bisexually or atleast have the capability for it.

It's just our particular culture that stiffles such things. Bisexuality used to be much more common and basically common place in some societies. Most people are actually somewhat attracted to people of the same sex as well as the other sex. Most people can't accept this because of the culture, hence why people are so anti-gay in most places. It's a part about themselves they can't stand and are ashamed of so it gets redirected as an outward hate. You should see the tests they do on homophobes involving porn.

That said while everyone has this in them, not everyone wants to go sleeping with people of the same sex. I don't, to the best of my knowledge anyway. Regardless just about everyone is alteast somewhat attracted or not attracted to people of the same sex... read up about the Kinsey scale and his research for the easy "everyone knows" kind of info.

So yeah, it really exists... and if our culture was like other cultures past it would be a lot more prevelant.

curious, psychology courses are always hit and miss for me, never know if they're just regurgitating the current trend in rhetoric as it seems to shift every five to ten years depending on what views are popular at the time.

It's funny, because I am straight and very very Pro-Gay Rights. While I don't support any laws against bisexuality, I would discourage multiple sex partners in general.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

General psychology is.  The more specific branches actually tend to know what they're doing however because they use scinetific or semi-scientific methods to get their research.

For example, to prove homophobes have unusual amounts of latent homosexuality they'll take people who are labeled as homophobes (by them scoring poorly on a survey) strap them in a chair... attach a device too... well you can imagine with guys.

Then make them watch porn.  Straight Porn, Gay Porn and Lesbian Porn and measure the "reactions" or... well you can imagine.  It's not perfect, but it's as close as you can get to measureing that sort of thing.

Look at the anctedotal evidence as well of all these famous people who are anti-gay rights then get picked up with gay hookers.  Or just in general other cultures where it was basically commonplace.  Heck we even have some signs of that in our culture.  Like that whole "On the down low" thing.  Where pretty much guys sleep with other guys while married but still insist they arn't gay or bisexual.  The stigma of being called gay is the offensive thing, not the act.

You should forget about creating too many rules for sexuality.
The variability is HUGE between people.
You can find true bisexual and confused bisexual as you call them. They both exist for me, with all the intermediate form between the 2 extremes.

I remember a girl that saied to me she was 60% homo 40% straight

Even more, u can define different levels of sexuality :

- face : the first thing you focus when you are young : the face of the people
the average face girl is different from the average face boy

- body : girl body doesn't look like boy body
I'm sure you have noted this ...

- sexual act itself : here we reach the more adult part,
usually you dont make the same thing when you are with a girl or with a boy (just take in count the anatomy)

these 3 part (it is a scheme) define the sexuality for me.
so depending of your taste and the part we consider,
you may be straight/homo/bisexual or not

Time to Work !

well my personal opinion is that everyone is bisexual. i've never had feelings for another guy before but, i think its 100% possible.

Sorry, but your questions sound a bit narrow-minded to me. Who are we to tell somebody that his sexuality is "not right" or "does not even count as sexuality" or that he is "just confused"? These are not the 50's anymore.

Fact is, there's people who are attracted to men AND women. I don't know what that feels like, so I'm not the right person to decide if it's a "true feeling" or not (what does that mean anyway?).
