I'm not going to choose sides on whether seece should have been banned or not, but I was just in another thread.... and considering many of the posters I saw in that thread who said countless insults and trolling statements...

I think it's very unfair that seece got banned for such a simple statement when we have other users gay bashing and throwing around countless insults and stereotypes about people who own certain consoles.

Seece did nothing compared to what some people get away with, and that is the problem imo.

I'm looking at Seece's ban reason and it makes perfect sense. He trolls against the PS3 all the time and that one wasn't even subtle.

report them and move on,

lack of rpgs? like there are about 234234425345 rpgs for the 360?

unless you start reporting people then the problem will persist.  If you aren't reporting those people you see doing things against the rules then you can't complain when they never get punished.

i just dont get what the big deal is. i mean, i take his statement mostly as a joke. i dont see how poking fun at the ps3 for not having rpgs is ban worthy. it is true, afterall, that the ps3 has shit for rpgs. and it DOES have inferior online.. but somebody could say the same for 360 about how microsoft steals your money and all they can do is buy exclusivity. every console has its faults, i dont think people should get banned for pointing them out, even if its in a sarcastic way.

I'm probably guilty of reporting trolling and other offenses the most. :P

However I did not report the ones I saw today, and why? Because there were already a few people quoting and saying "enjoy your ban" and the like, so it's pretty obvious they were reported, right? I don't want to fill up the reporting inbox with posts that have most likely been reported.

That being said, I'll go ahead and report two users right now who I thought were completely out of line.

I have edited this post because I don't want a ban and as soon as I had typed and posted it it got quoted by Torillian. I saw the error of my ways as soon as it was posted and deleted what I had typed but it was too late.

Please be a gentle jesus and turn the other cheek as I seek redemption and don't ban me again ;)
