No, my maths is fine. Can I suggest summer school for English?

Bingo.
Tombi is right.
For example, this week the attach rate is 6.13%. If the PS3 sold another 100k and KZ2 sold 50k, the attach rate would rise to 6.33%.
Not to mention we are including Japanese HW, so it is really 7.14%
Everybody makes maths mistakes.
I think MAG will sell fine. It will sell to the SOCOM faithful. It will outsell SOCOM: Confrontation, so it should make it to 1M... hardly a bomb.

| kowenicki said: My maths left me for a while... you are correct. Either way it will still be rather poor sales for such a mega hyped FPS and MAG wont have that kind hype or interest.... that was the point I was making. A subscription would send it to the bomb department. |
I doubt MAG will sell well with or without a subscription. It is an online only shooter. They generally don't sell well. I am not particularly impressed with the first batch of pictures for MAG. It looks like a poor man's Socom in first person. Call of Duty and Killzone 2 will occupy all of my online FPS time. I would have preferred that SCEA would have spent the MAG resources on a different IP. Hopefully, I am wrong but I don't see the need for another "run of the mill" FPS on the PS3.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
I wish I wish id never had seen those screen shots.

Whats that got to do with anything?
A very small % of 360 owners have purchased Left for Dead, but they still pay Live fees.
And MAG will likely bomb, but it has the potential to succeed. If Sony advertised it telling the public about intense 256 player online battles then...who knows.
Warhawk is an online only game but it is quite popular
