Super Mario Brothers 3 first, I didn't get to play it on the NES but it is awesome on the Wii. I would probably put Sonic 2 next, loved it for ages so it may be a bit of bias on my part, and Super Mario Galaxy in spot three.

2-D: Super Mario World without a shadow of a doubt. Only game I have on Virtual console and emulated (ZSNES).

3-D: Prince of Persia series. Thought I'd throw it in there, even if the Prince in the new one is actually Nathan Drake with surgery. He still needs some love :P
