To be honest, it's quite unfair to compare other platformers to Super Mario. The Super Mario series is perfect, you just can't beat it in terms of quality and polish.

Little Big Planet. It's one game and has more levels than the entire Super Mario Series combined. It's multilayer. It's customizable up the ass. Sackboy is one of the best main characters ever.
