There needs to be like, a Lair anthology that keeps its history and all the bad press that went along with the game, the best written reviews and the best instances of damage control from fanboys. It would be a good laugh 3-4 years from now.

Is Factor 5 really that desperate to save Lair.

Damn...... looks like every time Sony gets one or two things right (Leibzig, Warhawk) you suddenly hear an explosion in the background and think, WTF just happend, why must there always be something that goes utterly wrong ??? The best thing would be to be open and say, our bad, we messed up and are going to double the effort on Lair 2, with this attitude nobody will buy a Lair 2, since they thought number one was good they aren´t going to make the next better.

This kind of stuff only hurts their image more, take a loss and move on, if you ceep saying it was no loss you lose credibility. 

^^^ Well, they DID spend 25 million dollars on the game so if this title flops then they are in trouble. They need to sell at least 400k copies to break even (not counting the licensing, packaging, publishing and other fees).

Just wish the nintendo fanboys would stop being arrogant pricks. I never knocked one of the really poor Nintendo games that have been released. Yea, we know, Lair got bad reviews. I'm not buying the game anyways so Lair tanking doesn't affect me at all. All systems have a hyped game that sucks monkey balls.

In all seriousness, it is getting kind of ridiculous. No, I'm not supporting the game, and no, I'm not defending Sony, but have we not yet heard enough about this game?

No quickdraw, the nintendo fanboys on this site are getting a kick out of a game that many gamers could give two craps about and apparently is a poor game according to some review sites.

But..but..it's the Super Mario 64 of this generation! They said that on SDF!

And i agree with Quickdraw. Too much Lair threads. It was funny to see the backlash at first, but now it's getting tiresome. Even the most dedicated Sony fans know by now that the game is considered crap by the majority of reviewers. 

@ Chemical: Yeah, spending that much money and than hearing how badly spent it was must be frustarting, still I think you could sell more games if you sayed, it is what it is, lots of people won´t like it but many still will, instead of saying, it´s great....really....well it´s not great but no that bad.... you only think it´s bad but you are looking at it the wrong way.... let us explain why thinking its bad is wrong. That kind of talk only insults gamers and reviewers. It wont sell more games.

@ jjseth: I think this has nothing to do with Nintendo fanboys, nobody is saying Nintendo only makes perfect games, but when a Nintendo game isn´t that good Nintendo doesn´t tell people they have no idea what a good game is, if anybody is being an arrogant prick its the people at Factor 5. Nintendo fans (and non Nintendo fans) would leave this topic alone if there wasn´t news like this.

Ok that was really bad but I have a deadline to work with. Do you really think people like doing this ??? (yeah I know some do and it´s sad) If Sony, Factor 5 and the die hard Sony supporters would just stop defending something not worth defending Nintendo fans would let it go.

BTW if I had a PS3 I would still rent this game, I mean common, you ride a dragon and shoot Fireballs around.....FIREBALLS AND DRAGONS, I don´t care what the controlls are like, I just want to ride that dragon and show those little peasants whos da boss.

It's like if I write a review about "Pearl Harbor" and say that it's the worst movie I've ever seen. Then I get a guide from Michael Bay telling me how I am supposed to enjoy his crappy movie. Pretty stupid.
