sorry ton say but all fps (except on pc)

you must point left to look on left

*because aim is moving by the second stick*

are saying that all fps on console are bad???

No, on 360/PS3 the aim is locked to the centre of the screen also.

Only Wii FPS games allow you to move the aim freely about the screen, it works great, better than anything else in my opinion, except if there is a large deadzone when it comes to moving the 'camera' view.

I am pretty sure I have played some FPSs on older consoles that have a dead-zone... but it is usually only small.

As long as there is the option for a small dead-zone on the Wii it's all good.... which is why I think The Conduit is going to be great... customisation is key to me.

Some people just don't get it.
And some people just like to bash the Wii.

Often they are one in the same.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

He makes a VERY valid point about Animal Crossing. Unless I missed something....and I'm a fan. I played the Cube' version alot.

but do you think City Folk RUINED the franchise?

No. But it could have been- should have been sooo much more. AC:CF barely expanded on the Cube' game, which was as you know, an N64 game! A bit on the lazy side of things IMO. Not a bad game mind you, but I played the original and DS iterations, and saw little reason to play it.

Sounds like a typical kinesophobe: he's scared to move forward, so he blasts anything that doesn't let him mash buttons like he always has.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

Tom Chick is a chucklehead. These games are fine, with regards to their Wii-ness. A couple of the games I don't particularly like, but it has nothing to do with the Wiimote, or the Wii's capabilities.

He posts nonsense on a regular basis.

Jeez. I'm not paying attention. Yes Tom Chick is a...not a good....he's a bit of a moron.

Just for fun, this is what he should have said about the games (and only talking about the ones I've played or know something about):

  • No More Heroes-- while the art was awesome, the story was fun, bosses were spectacular, motion controls were fun, and combat was fun, the mindless mini games and open world aspect was painful.  I don't know why people feel the need that everything has to be a clone of GTA, Gears of War, Halo, of God of War but people should damn well stop it.  No More Heroes was fine without the open world sandbox bullshit.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars-- the Clone Wars?  They should have just cloned the Force Unleashed with lower res textures instead of giving us this shitty fighting game.
  • Madworld-- Way to give us the beginning of a good game and then forget the other four hours of the game.  Jerks.  Also, where's my online?
  • Elebits-- Oh, just what we need, another game for kids.  This game has so much frustrating crap going on and moving around so fast you're wrist is going to be kill you like you just found free access to every porn site out there.
  • Animal Crossing: City Folk-- If you're over 18 and you like this game you're a pedophile.
  • Wii Fit-- It's not real exercise.

Note-- Yes, I'm being sarcastic and not really serious (well, except for No More Heroes)

To me, the big issue with No More Heroes is that the arrow movies (wrestling and death blows) require me to do the same motion twice, and sometimes not even that works. If the game would just make it clear if I'm supposed to move the controller in a line or tilt it, it wouldn't be so much of a problem.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I am going to have to say this guy is nuubcakes: hardcore edition.

wow this is one upset fanboy!! lmao

Long Live SHIO!
