Wii has 385 listed on metacritic, and I know it's not complete. It's definitely over 400 and probably over 500 if you count all the shovelware.
I think Sony should include a waggle mote with the PS2 and Port over some Ps2 games.
Im an "Xbot" and i know PS2 titles are better than Wii's and even 360 for now.

Wii has much better games than Ps2, you can call me stupid but Wii has a lot of quality titles for all types of games
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
To some people, especially the ones that grew up on it, PS2 will "always" have the best library. Even when the time comes that in no longer does have the best library.
For me, growing up on the SNES, it has a far superior library to the PS2. In my mind it will probably always have the best library of games. I'll always look back on my past with SNES in a fondness that may or may not be entirely deserved.
I don't think the PS2 has any chance at disrupting Wii sales. There isn't much externally that could really hurt it's momentum right now.

Yeah, I grew up on SNES it had the Best Library. Then again all I every played on it was Mario World, Mario Allstars, Starfox, Super Metroid, Mortal Kombat II, Toys, Sim City, and Batman Returns.
Ignoring the PS2 library comment here.
Actually I do see this as a move the PS2 to slow down Wii adoption. It could be that Sony would rather have PS2 adoption to hold onto to the brand so that when people do get their next console they will consider PS3 more.
Though I don't think it will make much difference. The PS2 can't do what Wii owners are buying it for. The new experience.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

That's just plain wrong.
You could say that the Wii's top 5 is better than the Ps2's top 5. That's acceptable.
But saying that Wii is close to equalling the Ps2 in the non-Nintendo genres (ie, genres Nintendo doesn't make games in) is just plain retarded.
OT:
This is incredibly minor. Singstar, Buzz, and the alikes are all 1-2M sellers (some even less). That's not bad, but Sony doesn't expect the 5th (or whatever) Singstar to be a system seller, do they?
