Ignoring the PS2 library comment here.
Actually I do see this as a move the PS2 to slow down Wii adoption. It could be that Sony would rather have PS2 adoption to hold onto to the brand so that when people do get their next console they will consider PS3 more.
Though I don't think it will make much difference. The PS2 can't do what Wii owners are buying it for. The new experience.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
